Q1. How long are you working with <Company>
A1. Answer appropriately.

Q2. So are you going to work for the client <A Wrong client Name>
A2. No, I am going to be deputed to work with our client <Correct Client Name as in Petition>

Q3. To the dependent, Are you excited to be living in USA
A3. Yes, It would be a new experience.

Thats it. Approved.
He said your passports will be couriered to the address provided. Have a good day.
We said, Thank you sir, you too have a great new year ahead.

Received the petition and walked back out.

I have attended for H1b stamping(renewval) in Hyd on 29th Dec 09 and I was given blue form(221 g) as my PIMS were not verified. After V.O. asking couple of routine questions, he told me, I would expect passport in 4 business days and asked me contact them if I don't receive passport in 2 weeks time. I got my passport on 4th Jan 10 which is fourth business day.

mine:

i was waited otside for 35 mins because i arrived earlier.
I went in to the security check took 5 mins...

i went inside and there a person suggested me to stand in Counter Number X to verify my HDFC / DS 156 /DS157/I797 then they have taken my finger prints.

i went in to a open hall where a persongiving the tokens...
my token number was XXX after some my turn came where my token was on counter no:XX

me:good morning
vo:good morning,can you pass your passport and ds156....

vo:why are you going to US
me : to work with XXX

vo:is it a clinet project?
me:Yes
vo : who??
me :XXX

vo:what is your higher education qualification?
me:XXX

then the goldem words came......

I got visa in 2009 Jan. I would like to go US on 2010 Jan. Could any body tell what questions are being asked in Port of entry. Please reply with answers as soon as possible.

Hi,

I have my h1b visa stamping on monday(dec-28).I did my masters in u.s.a.this is my first h1b stamping.i am working at the client site .there are two layers of vendors.i got letters from both the vendors saying that i am working at the client .i have client letter.but the client letter is not on the letter head.my manager wrote a letter saying that i am working at the client site and gave his phone numbers.it sould be o.k????

My wife has an visa interview tomorrow ,last year i did a visa transfer to Y company and my visa is with X company.I visted india last month and came with out stamping carrying my new petition while passing port of entry.While taking appointment for my wife i just entered my old petition number along with receipt number and now when i checked with my company they said i have to enter new petition number other wise it wil be a problem in visa interview.Can some one tell me whetehr my wife wil be ablee to change the petition number before she attends interview.?Kindly help
