I am not a lawyer but here are my rules of thumb. Consult a lawyer if you have to.

1) No need to disclose traffic tickets if not arrested for DUI/drugs or any other serious (negligent) crime and if fine amount < $500

2) Your pass ports should have entry and exit stamps to help you calculate the days you were abroad. Not sure if going to Puerto Rico is considered a trip abroad as it is a US territory.

3) Approximate dates i.e. month of the year when the employment started/ended should suffice.

Hope this helps

I am planning to submit the Citizenship application.
I have few questions about filling the N 400 application form....

1. I am not sure Do we(me and my wife) need to mention about all the traffic violations/Speeding tickets that we received in the last 5 years? Ofcourse, all these violations are paid and are <$500.

2.Since We did not keep a log of dates for all the travels abroad(canada,India and Puerto Rico) Is it OK if we mention approximate dates of travel?

3.We also do not have the ACCURATE dates of
employment. Will it create any problem if the dates are not accurate.

We look forward to your reply.
We really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Patil
