I-485 applicant from Denver
Hi all,

My husband has DACA and we got married last year. We filed for his permanent residency on September 12th. We received the notice of action letters through the mail toward the end of September with notice dates of September 19. We have had a very good lawyer throughout his DACA process and when we applied for and used his advance parole. We decided to hire her for this process as well. She is expensive but it will be worth every penny.

He has his USCIS physical this Friday. Our lawyer somewhat explained what to expect at the physical but I was hoping to hear from some of you who have had theirs and how it went. He is up to date on his immunizations with the proper documentation. Our lawyer advised us that he will have to do a drug test, which is no issue because he is an avid soccer player and has never done any drug. From what I have seen so far online I have not seen anyone say they had to do a drug test. Can anyone please explain how their physical went and what all took place.

We are so excited to be at this point in his immigration process. We have been together for almost ten years and all our hard work is soon to pay off. Thank you for any advice or personal experiences in advance.
