Hello everyone, just wanted to update you guys on my experience.
My PD date: April 19, 2017
Biometric date: May 16, 2017
Schedule interview notice: August 27, 2018
Interview day: September 25, 2018
The interview was held at the Brooklyn field office.
I believe we had one of the newer officers because that’s what the lady said when we registered. This was about an hour interview, questions after questions and repeated questions.
We answered all the officers questions about each other, like spouses’ full name, birthday, place of birth, age, current address, addresses previously lived, parents full name, parents date of birth, parents place of birth, how many siblings, names of siblings, cell phone number, etc.
It’s was a real questionnaire.
We summited proof of our joint assets, bank accounts records, joint credit card, joint bills, photos, joint health insurance, etc.
The officer said our case would be under review for up to 120 days.
Seems frustrating but we are going to continue waiting, we’ve been waiting - going on 18 moths - for a GC for my husband. We’ve been married for 6 years now and we just wanted some security for him. He has DACA and has been able to work and has been very successful in his career. All I can say is our marriage is real and we’ll continue waiting together patiently, no frustration.
Hopefully we get a notice sooner than later.
