Raleigh/Durham Office 485 still pending two months after interview
We filed the first week of Feb 2018 in Raleigh NC. I am the U.S. citizen married to a Mexican citizen.
I-30,I-485,I-766
8/2018 - received his EAD card.
Interview - 10/25/2018. IT IS STILL PENDING for a decision.

Our interview did not go well because it was apparent our interviewer didn't have knowledge of her job and it felt like she just wanted to have an authority trip. She was all over the place in her questioning, repeating questions, and basically answering for my husband. I was so upset with her demeanor and even though she brought us in together, I was not allowed to speak. She stated we would have an answer in a couple of weeks. Well, it has been two months. I sent in a complaint against the interviewer to the field director, which was encouraged by my lawyer, a week after the interview took place.

We have a legit marriage and have been together for almost 4 years. Married Sept 2017.
He came here legally in 1990s but did work illegally when he was younger. Since, however, he was on DACA. His DACA has expired this year (which we just filed for again just in case since this is taking so long), and now we are stuck in limbo.

He had a previous charge of a fake ID but it was 14 years ago. No other criminal history. Never up for any kind of deportation before.

Anyone else had a bad experience with the Durham office?

I literally left the interview in tears because the experience was horrific. I understand they are there to seek out fraudulent activity, however, we showed plenty of evidence of being authentic. I'm a veteran of this country and just feel her attitude was absurd and uncalled for. I don't like that someone like her to have our lives in her hands. Our I-30 was approved a week after the interview but not the I-485.

Any advice would be appreciated. This has been so stressful and I don't even know what to think anymore.

It is also really hard seeing so many other people getting immediate approvals even though I appreciate all of the information on here.
