Expedited EAD successfully 2019
Hi everyone,

I requested USCIS to expedite my EAD (I-765/I-131) based on pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)]. This is my timeline:

November 2018 - USCIS receives my application for EAD (I-765/I-131)

May 1, 2019 - Called USCIS and requested my I-765 expedited based on "Severe financial loss to a company or person" - I explained to the USCIS officer that my company had purchased a non-refundable airplane ticket for a business trip in order to meet my employment obligations.

May 6 - I received an email from USCIS "Upon receipt of your request for expeditious handling, your case was reviewed and a determination was made that we need additional information to make a decision regarding your request. Please fax proof that supports the claims made in your request to the following number: 816-251-2290"

May 6 - I faxed a cover letter stating my situation and the circumstances surrounding my claim of "Severe financial loss to a company or person," copy of non-refundable airplane ticket. My employment contract, and a copy of the email that was sent to me by USCIS.

May 10 - I received an email from USCIS, "We received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly. "

May 17 - USCIS "We ordered your new card"

May 23 - EAD card delivered to my home.

Let me know if you have any questions!
