DACA EAD expiring while awaiting New EAD
Hi everyone my current work authorization expires on Aug 27th, bc it's DACA the EAD is under category c33 I am currently adjusting status with my partner and mailed documents that were received in March and filed for a new EAD I received the receipt notice stating its under category c09

There is an automatic employment authorization extension for up to 180 days in cases where a timely-filed EAD renewal is pending if its in one of the qualifying categories like c09.

So would I still be able to work...? Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Time line below

DACA received in 2015

Advanced parole done in 2017 (legal entry)

Married 4/11/17

DACA renewal approved from 8/28/17- 8/27/19

Filed for adjustment of status sent in documents Feb 2019

Received date 3/08/19

Bio metrics done and received 4/14/19

Interview appt 7/29/19 26 federal plaza

husband received approval of my adjustment of status Notice date 7/29/19

Second interview made bc of a ticket (park after dark) on 9/13/19 that was a clerical error done in the courts office because they never gave me a disposition on it.

Still waiting on the EAD card that it's currently in the national benefits center

Checked in with congress member who inquired but said it's timely

called USCIS (lady was rude and could barely understand) asked for a info-pass was told it wouldn't help for work authorization

called USCIS again asked for expedited processing due to employer hardship was told to wait five days I'm currently on day 3

I am a basket case full of emotions feels like a roller coaster. I did email my employer HR department the receipt notice for the new EAD card that states if my current one expires i should still be able to obtain the 180 extension.. but it's under DACA c33 that doesn't qualify and there is barely any information online about it.

wondering if anyone else experienced a similar situation.
