EAD Card without Biometrics
I just want to share my experience and hopefully, get your feedback as to your personal experiences too.

December 10, 2015 - I sent my request through mail last December 10, 2015 via USPS
December 17 - received an MMS from USCIS that they received it

Unfortunately, I also received a mail about the confirmation with my mispelled name on it, so I tried to correct by calling their hotline last January. Then I tried to check the status but the agent said that it still has not update as of yet.

I was worried that my waiting time would exceed 90 days to get my EAD card and I have several employment opportunities waiting for me so I had to email [email protected] to expedite my concerns last Feb 1, and they responded to me the following day advising me to do some steps, but didn't follow it, as USCIS customer hotline agent advised me that it's in a case to case basis and I have to support my request with a strong validation that I badly need my EAD ASAP.

Feb. 10 - checked my status online and surprised when I got this message as:
On February 9, 2016, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number SRC1xxxxxxxxx , to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by March 10, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

the same day, I called the USCIS hotline and entered my receipt number, hearing the same status update that my new card will be mailed.

I didn't go through the Biometrics, so there's no fingerprint in it for sure. I was thinking that my SSN is the key as to why it has been processed in less than 3 months (hoping that it is). I am on an L2 spouse visa.

Anybody here who can share your opinion on this? I cannot say that I'm already confident about receiving mt EAD card in few days until I have it on hand, knowing that USCIS advised me that they have a volume of request and it might take more than 90 days to wait until my request will be processed.
