Trick to track your EAD without Tracking No.
Hi!
I found out this trick on how you can track your EAD once your status has changed to "NEW CARD ORDERD".
1. Visit the US Post Office website www.usps.com
2. Create an account (upper right corner, click on "register")
3. Log in to your new account
4. Go to "Track & Manage"
5. Go to "Preferences"
This area includes the following message:
"Preferences
Update your notification preferences to have My USPS™ inform you of tracking information via email and/or text message."
6. Sign up for email/text updates of upcoming shipments.
Once you do that, you will be notified when someone is trying to ship something to your address or when a shipping label is created with your address on it.
I did this yesterday and got an email saying that a shipping label was created for my address. It is obviously my EAD Card.
Anyway, this provided me with the tracking number without the need to depend on USCIS to post it online.
I learned that this service is not available for every address, but still, worth a shot!
