Hello
Hello everyone so I have a couple questions. Do I need to submit the medical with my application even though on the website it says I can bring it to the interview. I don’t want to waste money and just need some guidance with that. I have stayed with family and friend in the past do I need to list all the addresses on my form and what if I can’t remember the specific dates. Thanks much

EAD Renewal
I have a quick question guys. Will appreciate if anyone with experience can share. So yesterday I met with an immigration lawyer to help me file for an extension for my EAD Card which expires in FEB. After filling the forms and made copies of all necessary documents I wrote him a check of $410 for the required fee. About an hour later they sent me an email saying I didn't need to pay for renewal since I have a pending I-485. I am a little confused if they are right or they don't know what they doing. Can anyone with experience share.
Second question is if they submit my application and I don't receive my new Card before this one expires in FEB will I be eligible for an automatic 180 days extension..? Thank you all.

Hope it will help
I wanted to share our story, hope no one will do mistake we did.
My husband is USC through naturalization. He was married to USC in his home country /isreal/, religious marriage, and court. They moved to California after few years divorced, when they divorce they did it through rabbinical court, not CA court.
I met my husband, we got married on April, 2016. Filled for my green card application in Aug 2016. We got interview in FEB 2017. But they asked us to provide more doc for the divorce. We sent more evidence from Israel stating that he is divorced and now his is single in Israeli court. A month later ICE sent a paper explaining the law, according to CA law you are supposed to divorce where you lived in the last 6 months, not where you were married. ICE had to decline our application because we were not able to provide the CA divorce documents for my husband’s previous marriage.
Then the journey starts again. We had to file divorce for my husband and his ex-wife, which takes at least 6 months, finally we get divorce paper and then we have to marry again, because our original marriage considered void marriage because basically means I was married to a married person /so complicated/. So I married my husband twice /funny/ love him so much. We got the new marriage license in November 10, and we sent the whole package again to ICE in November 2017. Got bio apt on Dec 29, 2017. So far no update.

Who knew, you are supposed to divorce where you live even though you were married in different country or state, CA has no record of him being married here before.
So please make sure of it if you have similar case.

Good luck

2nd interview for I485
Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone's been to a second interview and what their experiences have been?

A bit of background to my case:
I'm spouse of a USC - me and my wife have been married for 3.5 years (we married abroad). We have an American born baby going 2.5 years.
We had our interview for I485 last year in October, we thought it all went well as the officer said he felt that our marriage was genuine and all looked good except he needed to verify that my divorce from my first wife was in order.
Few months later, In January received an RFE for more info on my divorce (it was issued from back home - not an American court). I, however, didn't have anymore supporting docs than those that we submitted. And since their RFE, my initial EAD expired, but I applied for the extension and received it for another year in April.
I'm wondering which of you guys have been called in for a second interview, and what to expect. My field office is Montgomery, Alabama.
Thanks in advance!
