Is this normal?
Hello, been reading this forum for a while and finally decided to join and ask a question after my interview.

I am a GC holder and my wife is applying for AOS based on marriage (F2A). We have been married for 3 years now and had our interview last week. The interview went well I think, because the officer only spoke to my wife and asked very basic questions. He said he did not need to speak to me.

We have a child together already and another child on the way in a couple of months, I stayed in the waiting room with our toddler. We also brought in about 15lbs of proof of bona fide marriage, lol (not including a toddler and another baby inside), just paperwork and photos. The officer decided not to look at any of them, didn't take any photos for the file and said that my wife's interview went well and he will approve it. However, he also said there is retrogression going on and basically our priority date for GC moved back and they have no idea when she might get it. I have no idea how to read the bulletins.

Is this considered normal for our application? Our attorney hasn't seen anything like this in years, but she also usually deals with citizen marriages.

A week has gone by now and checking the case status online still says "Interview has been scheduled" and there has been no updates, like interview was complete or anything of sort. Is this something to be concerned about? Do they usually call back for another interview if there is a retrogression? I would have no problem doing it again, but hauling a toddler and bunch of paperwork and photo albums is a challenge since my wife can't carry anything heavy.

Thank you all.
