Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi my Pd is 12 Dec 17, for a week i 485 receipt number shows error and says it doesn't exist. can anyone suggest why this is happening.

Marriage based:
Did you guys do adjustment of status or K-1 visa? Which one is better to do and why?

And when you think it couldn't get any more worse than it already is, bingo it does . USPS
lost my replacement green card and now i have to redo it.

Hi everyone,
My Pd is August 2017 and still didn’t receive the interview notice yet. So I contacted my lawyer to renew my work permit wich will expires in early November she said that I don’t need to do it because maybe Iwill get my interview before , and To do so she charges 300$ . I don’t know what I should do now I’m afraid to Wait and not getting the interview before the ead expiration same time it’s illogical to pay 300$ for it !!!!!
Any suggestions would be really appreciated

I am middle eastern. I came to US on Oct 2016 on F1 visa and attended school for 2 semesters and for some personal reason, decided to stop school and then applied for the green card via my wife. The only thing is, we had the short engagement, we met each other on Jan 2017 and got married on AUG because my wife was the only one who used to make money and i need my Ead so i can help our household, and we applied 3 weeks after our marriage and i was wonder if the short engagement is gonna be a problem? And also we had a really small wedding because we have a plan to have a bigger wedding in my country. We filed everything by our self and we dont have any lawyer. We have bunch of documents together. here is list of the evidence that we have so far., please share your experience if you had your interview recently. Any advise will be highly appreciate.

joint bank account with a lot of activity
joint credit cards account
joint life insurance.
joint cars insurance
joint AAA
Joint health insurance
Joint tax 2017 transcript and tax return

scrapbook that shows how our relationship grows from first date

is there anything else that we missed or we should have it as a good evidence?

Hi All,

My PD has become current and I am on EB3. My application was accepted on June 1 and my Biometrics has been scheduled for June 28th. Any idea how long it will take for me to get EAD and also the GC itself.

I am on work based application.

On a side note, has anyone requested change of AOS process from EB2 to EB3? I know of cases where it was done from EB3 to EB2.

I received an email from USCIS that states On June 21, 2018, we mailed a request for initial evidence for your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number MSC **** ***. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for evidence by July 21, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I’m very scared now, What do they usually request.
I need help

I want to share my timelines and hope it will be helpful for a lot of us. This is a marriage based green card application. I am applying from Chicago.
I filled for I-485 by 10/17 .
By 10/16/17 ( Application went to the National Benefits Center )
By 11/15/17 Biometric was done, and since than I haven’t received any updates from them ( Didn’t receive a schedule for an interview or anything , it’s been about 8 months of waiting and I am so frustrated is it normal to take this long and have anyone been waiting for long as me or longer)
I filled for I-765 couple days later than I-485, and by 11/27/17 biometric was done. I called them many times and every time they tell me I will receive an update shortly, and I just got an approval by 6/20/18 and my card was ordered by 6/21/18 and I am waiting for it now.

I’m trying to renew my husband EAD card but only form says expired 2-28-18
Anyone here renew EAD with that form? Did you get rejected
