EB1 I485 approval timeline questions
I140 approval: September 2017
I485 filed: October 2017
Fingerprint: Jan 2018
EAD/AP received: Jan 2018

No update since then. I wanted to ask you guys if there was any change of having AOS interview scheduled before the retrogression ends on October 1st. I see some people who filed I485 last year have gotten AOS interviews for May 2018 as well.

I really need to go to India this year and wanted to confirm if it was safe to do so on EAD/AP combo card. Thank you all for your time.

Employment based interview experience-Denver field office
Here's our interview experience. The whole process took around a hour but the actual interview was just for 20 mins. We were given the oath to begin with and asked to sign the attorney waiver form since we didn't take an attorney.
The IO went through the details in the I-485 basically checking all the information inside it and going through a selected number of 'yes/no' questions. My wife was also asked to confirm the details in her I-485 document. No questions regarding job responsibility. We were then asked to sign the section of the I-485 to indicate that we appeared for the interview. The IO asked for the employment verification letter, latest paystubs, W-2's & tax documents and asked if we had any additional documents to submit. We ourselves gave our joint bank statements as well as our marriage certificate. The IO mentioned that rest of the documents look good and that our attorney will get a mail if there are additional documents needed. Overall our interview went great.

Employment based 485 - Interview was great but no Visa to approve
PC date Sept 2016
485 filing date: 30th May 2017
Received EAD in 60 days of filings 485

Got RFE for 485j in December 2017

Interview 5/3/2018

Interview was great (San Antonio TX, officer was very nice and it was very brief validating 485 info. Seems like she just did a formality and she called her colleague that I don't have a visa to approve - since it is India EB1C.

After the interview she was like I am going to prepare everything and please expect an RFE for Medical as it is getting expired in coming month. She added that she was going to send this to NBC who will finally approve it - she could not approve it as there are no visa for India right now (which means date is not current for EB1C). 2 hours of interview the status online changed to:

Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed

Lawyer confirmed that EB1C will become current in October 2018 and we should wait and renew EAD/AP for everyone.

Has this happened to anyone else? Also, if the date is not current whats the point of interview? Just a formality?

Hi Guys,

From your experience how much time does it take for USCIS to send you a decision once they receive RFE for medical exam and supplement J? I know that there is no general rule but it would be helpful to have a general idea, thanks!

No Biometrics but case transferred to NBC
Hello,
Can someone who did not had biometrics appointment notice for long time but had the case transferred to NBC, share their experience
Did you get biometrics appointment notice from NBC? How long it took

I have got ead/ap, case transferred 3 weeks back, not sure how biometrics would be done. Without biometrics I don’t think case will move further (for interview)

~140 days since AoS interview and still no word

Wondering if anyone had a similar timeline. I had my EB2 interview on Dec 9 in NYC, there were no issues, but I still have not heard anything back.

Anyone else had an interview in NYC in Dec, Jan or Feb?

Medical expired, but didn't ask for new one?
I had my interview today. The medical exam submitted with 485 was done in March 2017, so it is actually expired. I had a new medical before interview. However, in the interview, they never mentioned medical example. They asked what I have for him. I submitted paystubs, W2, tax and company letter, but totally forgot medical. I realized I still have that sealed envelop after came back home. The online status changed to "New card is being produced" right after the interview....Do I need to submit the medical proactively or just keep them in case they may ask for it later? Will they look back at my file and find it's missing up to date medical exam, after the card is being produced? Has anyone seen this?

Primary approved and dependant pending
We recently had employment based interview and husband is primary applicant. IO told us at the end of the interview that both our cases are recommended for approval and we should expect to receive green card soon. My husbands online status changed to card in production one hour after the interview. However, my status has not changed at all. Is this common?
