Hello Everyone,
Without a doubt, this platform is a highly informative one. Keep up the good work people! I am married to a USC and promptly put in my concurrent filing of I's 130, 765 & the 485.. my PD date:01/25/2017. NOA for all 3 arrived without incidence.
02/24 - a RFIE basically about an omitted signature on the affidavit of support form and, the requirement for a joint sponsor. These were promptly addressed and returned, uscis confirming receipt 03/30.
04/04 - USCIS informs me that a notice was returned by the post office, 'cause it could not be delivered. So while I was addressing the RFIE, a biometric notice, unknown to me, was issued on the same date. The post man deciding to deliver one and not the other... anyways, after e-requesting it to be resent, and calls after calls without any concrete progress... I opted for an infopass appointment at the Irving field office for 04/25/2017.
04/25 - My spouse and I were there on time, the officials were so helpful, printed out the notice and booked the bio' appointment for 1pm of 04/25, which was the date of the original returned notice. Bio done precisely 3 months of PD date 01/25 - 04/25.
Today, 110 days after, the status of all 3 are unchanged. I have raised status requests and was told they are working on it...
Now, my observations suggest that some states are faster than others, however, having to wait 110 days seems to be the norm for Dallas filers. Could this be the case? Also is the RFIE/ or the biometric appt. notice return the cause of the delay?
Anyone from Dallas or with useful insights into what could have been the issue, and helpful advice?
Thanks

At my wit's end
I am a houston dec 16 filer.I did my fingerprints in mid jan and since then my application seems to be stuck somewhere.
in Late march i applied for i-131 and i -765.So far i have not received any acknowledgement whether they received, accepted or rejected my application.I have called a few times and gotten varied responses from UsCiS.
I feel a little bit frustrated tonight.I would appreciate any suggestion on what step to take next.
Thank you in advance.
