Travel
Hello people,
I received my combo card today, PD March 10. I overstayed my F1 visa for about 140 days before I applied for AOS through marriage and also work illegally and still working as I already had SSN through OPT EAD.
Will there be any problem if I travel?
Please share your experience or heard anything about similar situation.
Thanks in advance and good luck to all.

March 2019 Fillers - Still waiting for EAD
Hi there,

Hoping March fillers can help me out here. My receive date is march 4th, and all I have had done is my biometrics appointment on April 4th. I have yet to received my EAD, or see any status change updates. Any other March fillers can share their experience for EAD?

The process is very frustrating. I am a Canadian born citizen married to a US citizen. I am not sure why this process is taking so long. I see other March fillers have received EAD. I am already out of normal processing time. I put in an inquiry on the USCIS website.

Any information from others' experience is appreciated.

cheers

131 advance parole pending travel without approve
Hello, I entered the US on April 1st, with an ESTA permit. I then married my wife on May 31st. On June 3rd, my lawyer sent the adjustment status, advance parole, travel document ( forms I 130, I 131, I 485 and I 765). These documented were received by the processing office on June 7th, and they were marked for “filing”. On July 12th I had the biometrics appointment.

My ESTA expired June 29th.
I have now left the US as of August 20th. My question is whether there would be a problem with me getting my travel document if I have already left the country? 23 august 485 change to ready to schedule for interwiew please help me

Traveling abroad with advance parole
Hi y'all! Wanted to leave my experience because it seems like a lot of people had the same doubt as me. If you have overstayed your visa previously and worked without authorization you CAN still travel internationally without any problem as long as you have a valid advance parole. You will be subject to secondary inspection and after that you'll be cleared out.

Traveled to Italy and re-entered in Miami. Went to secondary inspection and no questions asked. After waiting for 30 minutes I was good to go.

Hope this helps anyone fearing traveling abroad for previous overstays.

EAD / ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP
Hi all. I will really need your help here. Was married to a woman with whom i thought i would spend the rest of my life with, but things changed after our marriage. She has been extremely abusive to me, cheating on me by even bringing men to our house. I have been advised to file for abuse and do my green card processing alone with my lawyer. We filed in New York in March and i have an interview coming up next week (will be going there with my lawyer).

So here is my problem. I don't have a work permit yet and would really love to work legally to sponsor my lawyer fees as time goes on. My question is, can i still get my EAD after filing for abuse? Also, how long will it take to get my work permit?

Would REALLY appreciate a honest advise.

Thanks.
