Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi everyone!
I need a help, and good advice from you all.

Due to covid-19 my wife recently lost her job, and we are planning on to file Affidavit of support, but we don’t know how to do it exactly.
We have a pending marriage based 485 which is saying “case is ready for an interview “ , in this case, do we have to just file the form and bring it to the interview and give it to the officer or we must submit it right now? If so, then how and to where? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you so much in advance!

Is it better to call uscis to request them to process the application fast or just keep waiting until they send a decision I’ve been trying to call them past two weeks but. nothing they said case is under normal processing have to wait until the officer finalize a decision...

Hi, Anyone recently scheduled/rescheduled for Interview from Newark,NJ Filed Office?
My PD is Oct.29th. Case ready to schedule an interview from Feb.2020.

I received a letter from uscis,asking my husband who is a US citizen filed for me the beneficiary,to come to their office its an official matter and to bring more evidence of bonified marriage documents.they have listed things is should bring with me.so my question is guys,is this a stock interview?I need to know so I can have an idea of what am walking into also prepare for it.any advice or input is appreciated.Everyone give me any msg you think I need to know or things I need to do to make it through.

My case is already outside processing time . I it is already 11months after the interview, no communication from uscis . Anytime i make a service request i get the usual generic response" due to the workload not related to your case we expect a delay in processimg your case:Very disturbing.

I just don't know what to do.

First of all this is really sad to write and I don’t know what to do. I married my wife in October 2016 and we filed for adjustment of status in March 2017. Our interview was completed in December 2017. Decision about my case has been pending since then. I contacted them multiple times and the answer has always been the same that is pending security check. Lately I found out that my wife has been cheating on me by talking to some guy from a different country. This is ongoing since last 6-7 months and is still continuing even though I found out about it . She is not going to stop talking to him and the worst part is she talks infront of me sometimes. I cannot take it anymore. My mental health is not stable and I am going crazy. I loved her with all my heart and never imagined this happening to me. Please suggest what to do. If I file for a divorce will my case be dismissed? Is there a way I can fight this?

Hello people ! Please it's 10 months since I had my interview, "case is under review" planning to contact congressman and ombudsman but I don't know who to contact first, does it matter whoever I contact first? Thinking of contacting congressman first....

Today i got an email from USCIS saying they ordered a new card for my I485. I apply for aos base on marriage on may 2019, had our interview on November last year, since then i didn't have any update until today, I130 still shows as "case recived". Las week i send forms for renew EAD/AP but i guess i won't need that anymore.

About 2 months ago i raised an inquiry for my I485 and they responded that they were still reviewing my case andthat i still was within normal processing time.

2 weeks ago i called costumer service to seeif they would give me any details about why they were taking so long to make a decision but they didn't provide any new information.

Yesterday my husband rised an inquiry for I130

I don't know if all these actions had anything to do with the news we got today or was all coincidence but i wanted to share withall of you in case i can help someone.

I've been reading this forum every day for a very long time and i always dreamed with the moment i get to write this post.

I came to the country 10 years ago and overstayed my WT tourist visa for long time, i did work without Authorization and said it on my interview and application.

Feel free to ask any question, I'll be happy to help if i can. I just want to encourage everyone to remain strong and active on your cases.
