EAD (WorkPermit)

Hi All!

I was wondering if someone out there is in a similar situation and can give any advice. I am not sure if we should be worried or if there is anything else we can do on our end.

8/25/17 - filed for AOS and also submitted an application for EAD / this is when USCIS has received our documents
1/18/18 - Got a status update that a new card has been ordered and that EAD has been approved "We ordered your new card for Receipt # ____ and will mail it to the address you gave us
1/22/18 - Got another status update "We reopened your Form I-765 Application for Employment Authorization, and are reconsidering our earlier decision. We sent you a notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice.
1/23/18 - We reopened your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number _________, and mailed you a notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

We already received the approval notice a couple of days ago but does that mean it is void because there has been post decision activity after that status update?
We have tried calling USCIS but they really dont have any information that is helpful.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I got my approval letter today and they updated my online status.

October filer, don't give up. You will get it soon.

I keep waiting everyday, raise Sr few times NBC

Please share your experience who filed in August 21,i didnot heard anything.

9/30/17 Sent
10/2/17 Received by Vermont Service Centre
12/16/17 Raised first SR (75 days)
18/12/17 Received response to say there was no update
1/2/18 Raised second SR (90 days)
1/8/18 Received response to say there was no update
1/25/18 New card being produced
1/29/18 Card mailed

Am assuming I'll have it by Friday at the latest, meaning it'll be exactly 4 months since it was received. Was really worried it'd take more than 6 months. Cried when I saw the updated about it being produced!

So I just pulled up NBC processing time. And I765 C9 category processing time is September 1st now. Last updated is today: Jan 1, 2018. What the heck happened to Aug filers? My pd was in Aug 07 and after the biometric, there have been no updates since. I've raised an SR, have had my congresswoman on my side to help with inquiries. I requested an expedition through my congresswoman last week and still have not heard anything. This coming Feb 7th will be 180 days for me. No RFE of any kind.

What the heck is going on?
I am so frustrated right now.

Hello guys I have been monitoring this forum for a long time it’s the only thing keeping me sane now. My pd is oct 2 and I haven’t received anything yet so I put in an expedite request last week through ombudsman and I just got a notice saying I need proof for my case to be expedited,please apart from empty account balance what else can I show them need help urgently thanks!

I raised SR for my EAD and 30 days passed without a response. Anyone had a similar experience?

The never ending waits continues to get my EAD

1) 3 service requests raised and completed
2) 2 expedite requests completed (no rejection but not sure if accepted)
3) contacted congress
4) contacted ombudsman
5) contacted senator

All have made inquiries but have not heard back from the USCIS @ NBC

105 days is alot. How much more longer the wait?????

Hi everyone,

I just received an email saying that my card is being produced. AFTER 167 DAYS!

RD: August 15, 2017 (I140, I765, I485)

I raised two SR and always received a generic answer.

On January 16, 2018, they received my expedite request sent by my attorney based on the financial loss to the individual. Also, stating that I am a nurse and there is a shortage in the area where the sponsoring institution is located.

On January 18, 2018, they completed my expedite request, but I never heard if the request was approved or denied.

Today January 29, 2018, I contacted Ombudsman at 1300 Eastern Time.
 
Later today I received an email saying that card is being produced!

Does anyone know when will the card arrive?
