IT WAS THE GRACE OF GOD.
APPLIED FOR AOS JULY 16/2012
GOT TO USCIS BY JULY 20/2012
GOT FINGER PRINT NOTICE 29 OF JULY/2012
DID FINGERPRINT ON AUG 23/2012
GOT NOTICE FOR INTERVIEW ON THE 11 OF SEP; SCHEDULED FOR OCT 11
GOT NOTICE FOR APPROVAL EAD/ AP ON THE 21 OF SEP
GOT EAD/AP CARD IN HANDS ON THE 29 OF SEP
WENT FOR INTERVIEW ON OCT 11 AND GOT APPROVED INSTANTLY.
2 months and 25 days.
So here is how the interview went at Chicago office, came 10 minutes late but i was not worried i was just worried dey my ask me to come another time but luckily for me she just looked at me and like u are 10 mins late ok coming. gave them my appointment letter and i my name was called like an hour later becos of to many cases of couples.
the interview was like 15 mins
she did not ask me much,
just like can i see ur 2 identification photo id and what is the model of ur wife's car?
when did u stop working becos i dropped out from school and was out status for like 6 months base on f1
and when did you get married and she asked my wife dat what course i was doing and how we met and how long it took before we got married and stuff like that, becos she told my wife dat i got married to her becos of the greencard, and my wife was like nope becos he loves me and she asked my wife dat how did her family react to the marriage and my wife spoke the truth that her parents were kind of tripping but dey later approved of the marriage becos dey saw me as a nice guy. so she was like u guys married quickly any way but what joint stuff do u guys have together and i just brought only bank statement and internet bills and she like is dat all u have what of insurance am my wife told her that she cant put me on her insurance becos it wud take alot from her pay check; then she was like ok i can see u love him but what ever happens if his not honest just call me and i started laughing becos it was more like a friendly conversation from an anuty to her younger ones. i did not even feel any pressure and then she collected my1-94 and told me i wud not need them again. and she said we can pack our documents and i just did then she asked my wife to sign the paper and i should too. and i was not too keen i was still packing my documents then she is like have u signed i just laffed and the sign and then she said u guys are approved and i smiled. and she told us congrats and led us out of her office, becos they were so many other couples and most of them i keep seeing were not smiling at all, while some brought lawyers. WELL I GIVE GOD THE GLORY BECOS SHE WAS REALLY NICE AND ACTUALLY TOLD US TO GO TO OTHER PARTS OF THE TOWN AND HAVE FUN.....HMMM im done with immigration for now, so im going back to school for spring session...woowwwwwww.....appproved (10-11-12) the number worked for me....lol
