  • No answer after AOS interview

Hi everyone, I will be grateful if someone can provide some insight about our case.
We have sent our package to uscis in the beginning of September after getting married in August.
    The package contained I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131.
After a few days we got our receipt number and the appointment for biometric at 2/10. Due to my husbands deployment in October we contacted uscis and requested expedite processing. They approved the work authorization and travel document immediately. At the day of the biometric appointment they agreed to interview us on the spot. I did have a problem with the prints- the computer could no sense my prints and they had to fingerprint me with ink. The interview went well and in the end the officer said the age does believe our marriage is authentic and explained to us about the process of removal of conditions in two years. She said the she can't approve us on the spot because she has to wait for the fingerprints to come back, but that besides that every thing is ok and that she had all the documents she needs. I asked how long it'll take and she said that it shouldn't take long. She was really nice.
The interview was at 2/10 and its been 3 weeks and nothing!! I'm worried, I don't understand what is taking too long. I wanted to go visit my home country but didn't want to leave in the middle of the process especially due to the fact that my husband won't be here. What to they check in the finger prints? What should I do? My husband is leaving in a few days and I'm worried there will be more delays.
If anyone can help I will appreciate it!

ur case looks ok and u said io told u that she approved ,dont worry just get ready for party.
after finger print ,FBI checks ur criminal history ,so if u dont have any bad record then u dont have to worry, and FBI almost takes 3 to 4 weeks.
    good luck

      thank you

      This waiting is nerve wracking!
Should I schedule an info pass to see if things are moving or just wait?
My husband is deploying in a few days to Kuwait and the thought of waiting for the answer by my self is really upsetting. I really hope I will get it soon!!

got a letter today from uscis

The letter was from the officer who interviews us, it said that they couldn't read my fingerprints. Therefore I need to come to their office in order to provide a sworn statement , and bring a letter from my local police to prove I don't have any arrests. They scheduled an appointment for next Friday.
Is there a chance that I will get approved on the spot?
