Duplicate Approval Notice

Hi,

I hope somebody can help me figure this situation out...

I recenly got my I485 approval (in June) and had my passport stamped etc by the end of June and the officer at USCIS told me that now I just have to wait for my plastic card in the mail.
There have been 3 date changes for my case since my stamping (but with no change in messages). Just yesterday however, the LUD changed saying 'this case has been approved and an approval notice mailed on 19th July..blah blah'!!!
Has this happened with anybody else? That after stamping of passport you've gotten another approval mail?

Would appreciate any responses.

Duplicate Approval letter

Hi CSingh,
Remember you helped me once responding to my query. So I guess its my turn. Well I had the same experience so your GCard is on its way. Expect to get the card. The message just means a card has been ordered. Thats the approval thing...not to be confused with the approval letter you get after 485.

Hi Radha,

Thanks a lot for replying. I eventually got 2 identical approval notices in the mail last week!! Also the LUD on my case recently changed to 'your card has been mailed...' so I guess its all okay like you said.
