Interview--Previous Passports Requested

Has anyone been asked to bring in all previous passports to the interview? Although I have an unexpired passport, I received a notice to appear with all of my previous passports. Any experience or ideas?

my wife was asked for original passport of entry to U.S. She stated she had lost it and the officer was satisfied with new current passport.

Yes, you must carry all your expired passports. IO asked me to give him all expired and current passports.
He checked the passports, and returned back. ( They want to make sure, your are the person who seeking AOS and any entries into US or differnet countries)

This is a normal behaviour, so if you have expired passport take along with you.
