My wife's adjustment of status has taken a while. The USCIS just says the finger print fee was accepted August 12, 2012. How long should it tale to process? She had a finger print appointment and has had nothing since then. I caled USCIS and asked if they were waiting on anything. They said no.

Hi, Im sorry to say I'm in the same position, my fingerprints were taken in October and I've also heard nothing. It's totally out of your control. all you can do is sit back and wait. very frustrating, but the best of luck to you guys

How's your case going? I'm also in the same situation. I filed back in August 2012 and got my finger prints taken in September. Are either of you in the Chicago area?

I'm in the Austin area. Just tried to renew my drivers license this morning and they said they can not verify my I-485 application and they will have to call homeland security. This is just getting sill now, try to do things legally and it seems like all we get is screwed

I'm still waiting. Now it's been 9 months. Anyone try writing a letter to their US congress man?
