Medical exam for AOS from other state

Hi,

My priority date is going to be current might be next month. I am going for AOS here in USA based on approved I-130. I am maintaining my address in California(current address) and right now I am in Texas for few months, temporarily. I am on contract job here and do not have time to go to CA for medical exam. If I do medical exam from Texas state(other state) will it be valid? I mean do USCIS valid the medical exam record from other state as I will be filing I-485 being California resident? I do not have time to go to CA for medical exam, also I need to take all the vaccines. I will be going to CA just for couple of days to file I-485.

Any suggestions and sharing an experience are highly appreciated.

From what I understand, your medical exam just has to be done by a civil surgeon listed on USCIS' website

As long as the exam is done by a civil surgeon, it should be accepted.

Personally, I live in one state, am filing in a different state, and had my exam done at a separate third state.
