Hi guys! I got married 7 months ago to a US citizen; we've been dating on and off for 2 years. I had a tourist visa which expired in 2007. Prior to that I had a crewman's visa that expired [left the company] in 2006.
Since I have no SSN nor ITIN, I have no legal documents here -I have very little proof to show the IO once our interview comes. He cannot add me to the lease, his tax returns, auto insurance, I cannot have my own bank account/bank card etc.
I only have the following documents to show:
-Life Insurance beneficiary
-Joint bank statemement [just one]
-Joint insurance [dentist & doctor]
-Photos, cards, and receipts
-Marriage Certificate
I have No Bills since I do not work and have no permit to do so. We both have prepaid cellphone plans so we do not have bills for our phones. I do however use our card to pay that, but since its an automatic prepaid plan, there is no notification whatsoever. I only do a screenshot of my monthly payment and print that one out.
I've tried to apply for SSN and ITIN just to see how and to learn a little more; but we were unsuccessful.
We've tried to add me to his tax returns but failed to do so. In order for me to be included, I will need an SSN or an ITIN at least.
