F1 to greencard after marrige

I have already submitted my aos paper after marriage and currently waiting for interview response from chicago. My interview was on june 19 and didn't heard anything from them until now. Question is how long would it take to hear back from immigration and how do i change my status in school if i get a approved for green card. As i485 is pending if i quit going to school and got terminated feom school before any response from immigration would it affect my currently pending i485. Thanks for reading and answer

Your pending I-485 should be fine. Most interview that I attended gave me a verbal approval at time of the interview and approval notice comes about a week later. I'm guessing the officer need more document, or needs further investigation.
You should keep your F status as long as possible just in-case you are denied and you would have more time to refile or reopen.
