Hi everyone recently am using a lawyer to apply for my green card but its seems like my lawyer is just acting up. we had finalized everything with him on July 8th and he said he will send the applications either the same day or the next day which is the 9th. its July 20th i haven't heard anything from the USCIS or even a simple letter nothing. i even called Western union to find out if the money order been cashed already but it's hasn't, so now i don't even know if he send them or he just lying to me. Now am thinking of going to go get my staff from him and maybe apply by myself but i don't know the process. so any help am an F-1 student married to a US citizen. thank you

I am on the same situation as you. I would definitely get your paperwork back from the lawyer. What type or doubts do you have related to the application? You can do all the paperwork yourself. Hiring a lawyer is only when your case is delicate. What is your status right now?
