I-485 and Marriage
Hello, recently my I-140 has been accepted in EB-1 category. I am in a tricky situation and I need some advise on I-485 filling. Please check below information:
1. My current H-1b (I-797) is valid until February 7th 2014. However my visa stamp is expired last month. I am in my sixth year of H-1b.
2. I am planing to marry in next 6-8 months. Partner is not yet finalized ( i am from India ).
People said if i get GC before marriage it is difficult for spouse to come to US. If i go to India now, i need to appear for visa interview.
Please let me know what is the best thing to do in this situation.
