I and my spouse filed for I-485 in Nov 2003. Both of us received FP notices this week with the actual appointment falling the preceding week.
We are requesting for rescheduling we are not in the town where the appt is being scheduled.
I am planning on requesting the appt to be rescheduled in the town where we are but in case USCIS does not consider this request I do not see any choice but to request more rescheduling.
Does someone know if there is a limit to the # of reschedule requests or does USCIS consider a request to schedule 2-3 months from now when the applicant can travel?
In case an applicant is not able to meet more than one scheduled date/time what is the recourse?
