    Working on existing work-based visa after filing I-485?

    Hi,

    My fiancee and I will soon marry and file an I-485. I am a British national who is working legally in the United States on an I visa (foreign media). Can I still work legally while I wait for the I-485 petition to go through the works? Or do I have to give up my job and wait for a work permit?
