I-485 Request for Evidence

Hi,

My wife is a permanent resident and we filed my I-130 along with I-485 on August 26, 2013, as dates are current for F2A category. Today I received RFE for I-485, requesting to submit evidence to establish that my wife is a United States Citizen.

We have mentioned on I-130 form that she is permanent resident. How should I reply to this RFE?

Should I write them a letter explaining that my wife is a Permanent resident and as dates are current we are eligible for concurrent filing of I-130 and I-485.

Our I-130 is pending and we do have receipt notice for the I-130.

Please help us.

Hi! I just had a problem with my RFE as well. Theyre asking for court dispostions for all my arrests but i have never been arrested before. So i didnt know what to send to them. I posted about it on here but i couldnt wait for replies (noone is replying either hehe) so i called theyre customer service line early this morning and got my answer. I am in the process of obtaining documents i need so i suggest you call as well if you have any questions. Call at 8am so theyre not stressed out yet hehe. They can be really helpful especially if you are clear on what you are asking and if you are very forthcoming.

Same problem ,, I think they made a mistake. How can we offer the evidence since we are not the citizen???? Please help

I did call them this morning too... They are very helpful... I just need to send them letter explaining the fact that my wife is permanent resident.

I sent them letter with copy of first page of form i-485 and I-130, receipt notice for I-130 and copy of my wife's green card

I have the same problem, i got my RFE on Sep 12 and wrote the letter and mail it back on sept 15 and on the system it says that they received it on Sept 18. I filed I-485 I-130 I-765 all at the same time. The system has been updated just for my I485 saying that they received RFE however for my I-130 AND I-765 it just says received on august 15.

Has anyone on this same case (spouses of a permanent residents applying in august or sept) been updated on the work authorization? or have anyone hear back after sending the RFE?
