My wife and I live in different states because of jobs. She works in CA and I am in TN. In April 2013, we submitted our 485 applications based on my approved EB1B I-40 petition. My wife received an interview notice in July and had an interview regarding our marriage at the local office in Los Angeles in August; I accompanied her in the interview and was interviewed briefly by an immigration officer. At the end of the interview, the immigration office concluded that our marriage is real. He was not able to approve our cases because my file was not there. Today, I received a notice from the USCIS asking me to appear in an interview in Memphis in November. Does anyone know what is going on? Does my wife have to attend the interview with me as well? The content of the notice is too general. Any comments will be appreciated.
