Hello. I need some advise here. I came to the US on an f1 visa in 2007. I have been out of status for over a year now. I have been married to a US citizen since February and we are filing for a green card right now. I have had a ssn from a work permit and I have been using it to work since I got it. I pay taxes and all but I am not supposed to be working. Should I mention my work status on the i765 and i485? I want to be honest but I don't want to jeopardize everything. Can you please advise what's the best approach.
