There is no interview for an Advance Parole. You may be waiting for an Adjustment of Status interview, if you filed form I-485, but if you have the combo card, you can work and return form short trips abroad with it.

Please I need a answer if anyone can help , I filled in my AOS in august, got accepted by august 8,2013 and did my biometric and got my Work and travel combo card October 16 since then have been waiting for interview letter it say texting an interview and have called 2 times but still said thesame thing to me, have be waiting more than a month now . Should I be worried applied from orlando Florida thanks .

Thanks Ray..B. was just trying to find out how long my status is gonna stay on texting an interview cos it's been like that since after I went for my biometric , and it's been over a month since I got my advance parole combo card. don't know if orlando Florida is backed up cos nobody is saying anything that's why am just worried.

anyone from orlando Florida that file for AOS in august care to share their experience if they have gone for interview etc.... Cos am yet to get interview letter getting worried?

Usually will take about a month after u got ur EAD card,,u should get ur I interview schedule letter by mail from uscis but it should be no worries cause u have EAD card ,,so can work n travel back home if u want to.,

still no interview notice yet, after getting my EAD/AP I called USCIS and spoke with a stage 2 who told to wait till on the 18th of dec that he has send out an email to my local office etc. just kinda worried cos everyone seems to be getting the interview and am still on IT for over 2 month USCIS received my file since August 8, till date no interview notice don't if it's orlando delay or something 😢

Similar happened to me... They kept me waiting 2 weeks, then 30 days, then 60 days... Till I had to be calling every day USCIS and explain EXACTLY what's going on... They finally found out what happened..

If I were you, I would write down all facts of your case and specify the main problem. Then you call. Sometimes they tell us to wait and wait but just to save then time. Seems like they forte about it once we hang up, and after loosing so much time they actually start looking at our case When we call after months...

Jut a question, how long did it take to receive your EAD/AP document??

Also, did you file for both at same time, or did you have EAD before??

am gonna write down my time frame so you can do same too, USCIS received my document on august 8,2013 Got notice for FP on 8/14/2013. went for my FP on 9/11/2013, then didn't get or hear anything untill the 16/10/2013 wen I check my mail box and found my EAD/AP card without notice . Since them have been waiting for notice of interview still nothing till date. Just sucks how they just forget about people and yes I'll filed everything together one month after I got married to my husband , I meet him last year at the airport on my first trip to the US on B1/B2 visa I came for conference in orlando Florida we both took the same flight from my country and didn't even know each other untill we go to Florida and I got confused of where the baggage claim was he help and notice my accent and ask where am from that's how it started at the time I was married to my ex and he was going through he's divorce we both kept I touch after he came back to my country these is my 8 times of been in the Us and I always stay 3 weeks , we got engaged in my country in May and he throw me a big birthday party in June in my country cos he works there. we both flow together to the Us in July we weren't planning on getting married till next year. but it just happened that we went to the court coz he wanted to find out what he needs to prepare for next year when we ready to get married the lady we met at the court was nice and ask about how me and said I think you guys should just get married and continue your love story , no wedding dress no wedding bands nothing we didn't even have out birthday that day we both said ok and got married and the next day went to the beach and used our camera and took a picture , went to key west for honey moon and decided to fille our papers I stay behind while he went back to my country for he's job but he comes every now and then to check on my o met he's kind in October and they are coming over for Xmas he's met my family back in my home country and we plan oh having a wedding in my country we I travel back home we have so many picture since the first day we met and have quit my job since married to him cos, my job is with my ex husband we both have out own company before the divorce and I have a son but had to quite to avoid my husband been jealous of me working with my ex husband. am too scared to travel with my combo card cos I don't know if I'll be allowed in without the green card in hand I still haven't gotten an interview yet, they couldn't even tell me if my case has been transfer to my local office on Florida they just said wait till 18 if don't hear from them contact them, so frustrating cos my husband doesn't want me to work but so far I have my drivers license and SSN . Guess I just have to keep waiting and pray God handle everything cos I miss my son and family back home

I got my biometrics done September 30
My EAD card in November 19.
Travelled, still abroad but just checked online status and it's days interview date, January 27.
Oh I filed September 1st.
Don't worry too much, I'm sure ur comb card is coming. On a different note, any pointers, tips for our interview??
