My employer applied for H-1B Extension on June 10, 2013 as my H-1B visa was expiring on Sept. 13, 2013. Currently, this application is on "Initial Review" stage.
My wife (Greencard holder) petitioned my Greencard application (I-130) on March 19, 2012. It got approved. When our file became current, I applied for Adjustment of Status (I-485) on August 1, 2013. Currently, this application is on "Testing & Interview" stage.
USCIS website says that I can legally work and stay upto 240 days from the date of H-1B expiration, while waiting for H-1B Extension decision.
My question is: Will there be any problem in the Greencard interview if my H-1B Extension decision from USCIS is still pending? Should I go for premium processing to get H-1B Extension?
