I got laid off on Oct 25 2013 on H1B.
I married my US citizen GF of 3 years on Nov 5 2013. (We have pictures, vacations with each others families, same insurance, lease etc to prove our case, so 3 years of history & staying together should prove it)
Sent out all the EAD & Green card paperwork on Nov 15 2013.
Question 1. My new job starts in Feb 2014, will I get my EAD by Feb 2014 or whats the normal processing time ?
Question 2. In the mean time, should I look for another H1B transfer job or I am ok & legal as long as I am waiting to hear for my EAD & Green card ?
