I have been requested for testing and interview for 485 adjustment status

Hello all,

I know this questions would have been asked a million times but I'm too nervous as I have been asked to appear for testing and interview. My is eb3 category and current and I have been waiting for 10 years pretty frustrating.

couple weeks I got notice saying that my case was transferred local office. Today I get this message that I need to appear for interview. My question to you all is just one.

What is the implication of this ?
what questions might I be asked ?
what are the chances of approval ?


pls help. Appreciate your help.

I hope this helps....I had my interview this week ...He asked all technical questions along with regular questions like where do you live and how long have you been working?..I was unable to answer the technical questions properly...Officer wasn't satisfied with my answers...Good Luck

7 months since my interview and no answer yet

I came to the USA on F1 Visa in 2007.
Graduated in 2009 with master degree.
Worked from 2009 to 2012 on H1B.
Got laid off in Sept-2012.
Got married in Jan 2013, my wife is a USA citizen.
Had my interview on May-10-2013 in the Cleveland office.

The officer asked me a few identity questions only for a few minutes and nothing about the marriage, then he asked me to leave the room, he spent more than 30 mins with my wife, he asked her all kinda stuff. At the end of the interview he told her that he will let us know in a few days and he will send us a letter. It has been more than 7 months and we never heard back from them, my lawer said there were no issues at the interview, he sent a few inquires and always the response is the same "pending, security check".

Can you please advise and tell me whats going on, especially that the office separated us in the interview and never asked me any questions related to our marriage, he just asked my wife. Kinda confused over here.
