Hello,
I married a U.S. citizen in 2007, filed for adjustment of status in 2008, case was denied in 2010 under suspicions of fraud. Lost my work permit, relationship got really strained of my inability to provide therefore we separated. My spouse moved on with her life without any communication, so i gave up moved on as well. This year she contacted and wanted a divorce cause she plans on remarrying to which i obliged cause i am also in a happy relationship.
I plan on getting married to my fiancee for year now, she is a U.S. citizen as well. Was wondering if there is any laws or regulations that would stop me from filing for adjustments with my new wife to be as I was told that i could not because of my previous denial?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated, if there is anyone out there who has been in this situation please do share your experience.
Thank you
