Hello. I filed for my wife and son on August 29 2013. My wife is from Mexico City and my son was born there as well. September 6 th 2013 received all the texts of receipts from USCIS.

my wife did her biometrics on November 4 th 2013 in M***aukee Wi and we received her EAD along with travel parole on November 12 2013. The same with my son's travel parole.

AOS interview in M***aukee Wi USCIS on December 5 2013 for both and approval at the end of the interview.

Since my mortgage and utilities bills were already established before I got married I couldn't follow the typical submittal of documents of joint bank accounts- credit cards bills in both names or both names on leases or checking in both names or utilities or anything like that but I did send copies of all our dentist bills -- doctors bills. Medical Insurance statements. Letters from our family doctors for both of us along with my sons pedia doctor. Pictures of us since they came to the US. I even sent copies of the prescription bags that you get from walgreens because they show names dates and addresses. The more important message that I felt was important to the USCIS was showing a time line of names and dates and addresses along with the fact that I supported them 100%.

I also submitted all the tax info W-2s - payroll stubs etc etc etc.

When I sent all the forms and supporting evidence in a shoe box it weighed 3.5 lbs. I filled and filed all the paper work myself. Error free but I had gone over my finished petitions 5 times with a fine tooth comb before I sent them. No attorney or immigration business service.

Wow, that's a nice story well I filled in August too , USCIS received date august 8th, received hard copies and biometrics date for September 11, biometric done within 10 min. receive EAD and AP on October 16th yet to be interview , my interview is for January in orlando Florida. meet my husband almost 2 years from feb5 was my first time in the Us on a B1/B2 visa came for a conference meet at the airport turns out that he works in my country and we were on the same plane from my country to the US and we didn't even say hello cos we didn't know each other untill we got to the US at the baggage claim that's when we spoke, he was going through a divorce and I was still married but having issues with my marriage , we talk and hang out while in the US and dated too I came to the US couple of time when he's in he's rotation and we stay together untill he divorce was finall then he moved to orlando we moved he's things from he ex and drove to orlando he rented a place and ask if he found put my name on the lease so I can have a place to stay when ever I visit the US that's how my name ended on the lease , didn't know we will get married cos I filled for divorce and settle out of court my divorce wasn't finally on till march, dis year, so we started leaving together in my country after my divorce but he propose in May and true throw my a big birthday in June in my country , we both travel in July to the US no date of wedding fix yet just traveling together like we US , and a day after we got to the US he ask me to follow him we ended up in the court he was asking question at the court what are the process of getting married to a non US citizen at the court the lady we met just say some Id etc and said if we like she can get US married today that's how we got married no wedding dress or anything , funny cos we didn't even shower so the next day we put on some white dress went to tey beach and took few picture our best man was our dog that's all , and they he said he's gonna file he went on line and fill out the forms lots of mistake because we didn't know what to file but took us close to 3 weeks to finally finish very thing and we sent our package out . we open a joint account but was close cos I didn't have a SSN so I had to wait till I got my EAD , he travel back to my country for work and comes back on he's rotation cos he works 8 weeks in my country and on rotation for 4 weeks in he's country so I was here by myself when went to see he's kids on one of he's rotation he went to see my parent when he got back to my country. So far still waiting on my interview go January , trying to start putting things together we have torns of pictures, from the first day we met till date, he added me to he's car insurance we open another joint account, lease, rental ? Gas bill got my drivers license , that's pretty much what I have hope that's enough to prove when we go for the interview , wish me luck thanks.

Hola ramz !!! De dónde eres ?? Where are you from ? It sounds like you have a solid plan. Just be transparent and bring all your "originals" of all your paperwork and you should be fine. Good luck ! I would love to hear back from you on how it went ???

Marco , am from west Africa , and sure I'll post the out come trusting in God to see me through, my interview is a month from now in January just trying to relax and enjoy the Christmas with my husband and he's son before I start putting all my things in order for the interview, not easy cos i quit my job and my husband doesn't want me to work in the US cos he wants me to be going back and fort with him when he goes back to work in my country. Not easy staying at home doing nothing cos have been working since I was 16, but we plan on starting our own business in the US. ,
