If someone has a third degree felony and misdemeanor for having 25 grams of marihuana and papers from 1999, do you think he should take an attorney to the interview which is to be scheduled in the near future? All was disclosed in the application with certified court records.

Absolutely, a qualified immigration attorney should accompany one to an Adjustment of Status interview if the applicant has prior convictions which would be issues in the processing.

Hello, rayb I just got dis message that my interview notice have been sent to me today, please what should I expect am in Florida any idea what the interview is gonna be like am adjusting from B1/B2 visa,applied one month after I got married please anyone is in orlando Florida interviewed yet, if so what was it like ?

The primary reason for an Adjustment of Status interview is to determine if the relationship is valid and that the applicant is otherwise qualified to be approved for Green Card status.

Take proof of living together and proof of commingling of financial affairs

1. Joint rental or lease agreements.
2. Statements for joint checking, savings and credit card accounts.
3. Photos of you both together during marriage.
4. Be prepared to be interviewed separately.
