Hi My name is Prasad , I just have a quick question. My brother applied for
for a status change I 485 for my mom who is on B1 visa. The case is now
pending, because of lack of birth certificate. My question Is would she
able to travel to India while this is processing . Please help me thank you!

It's not a good idea for mom to leave the U.S. while her conversion is in process. She will have expressed "intent to immigrate," and her visitor visa might be cancelled at the wrong time.

I 485

I agree with Ray. It's not worth losing all the ground work of the 485. When this is all done than she can travel freely with no worries.
