First question, online my case status says "ready for interview", it changed to this a few days ago. How long until I receive a date for the Interview in the mail?

Also, my main question is....

At the time we submitted all the paperwork my wife was still in school, thus not making the sponsor line. My father in law then sponsored me. During the interview, do I have to take his tax Transcripts with me? And my wife's (US Citizen).

I submitted all of it with my application, just confused why I have to bring it with me again!

Mine too almost 3 month before I got an interview date after changing to texting and interview , but it depends on your location I guess am in orlando Florida so I think that's why cos most august fillers as me have gotten their GC here I am waiting to go for my interview next year, when they send you your interview notice they will tell you what to bring.

Hello Chris. I hope you made copies of everything you sent USCIS ??? What you sent to them than pls take your "ORIGINALS " with you !!!! If you can add to your case within the same groundwork than take that in a separate folders. They will only ask what you have submitted on paper. Than how did you meet ? and where ? When will you get your interview date ???? As soon as your physical file gets to your local USCIS office and assigned to a immi agent and than the system will send you the date and time along with a check list of what to bring.

I used an immigration attorney, so they scanned all of the paperwork they sent to USCIS. I will just need my original birth certificate.

I have a little problem your interview notice is asking for birth certificate of my husband children from he's former marriage cos we don't have kids together jet, now he doesn't know how to ask he's kids for it will it be a problem if he doesn't bring it to the interview, Botha kids are 25,and 23 years of age? Please advice.
