  • Spelling error in a document

    Hi,
I'm planing to do AOS. I noticed one of my educational document has a spelling error. This has been written in my native language and I have translated it long time back in 2005. Can somebody give me some advice here how to resolve this. First do you think a foreign translation done in 2005 is still valid? If I submit an affidavit to the translation, do you think USCIS would accept it. I'm very concerned, I dont want to make any mistake. Please let me know your opinion.
    Thanks

Yes I believe it will be fine. I've found that if asked during your interview and you give a solid answer that you will remove any doubt. As far as the date if 2005 that fine as well as long as the notary seal is still valid

Thanks for your reply, just to make it clear. My translator is not from the US he is a sworn translator in my country. Do you think it is fine with USCIS.
