I need help!
I legally entered USA on 2005 using my F1 Visa, and I dropped out of college on 2006, and then I became overstay since then.
I got my SSN from my college, and since then, i never use that ssn to work outside campus.
I meet my wife on 2008, and then we were married on December 2009.
For some personal problems, we were never successfully applying anything in order to change my status, until now.
I was working illegally since dropped out of school, and never filed any tax return.
She s a green card holder, and she will become USC within couple months.
I need help regarding form I-485.
I know that I should never lie, so I will tell that I was working illegally.
For some reason, my and my wife was filing the tax return, and saying that I have $0 income.
The questions are:
1. Do I need to file a tax return for this year?
2. Is this a complicated case, so I need to hire a lawyer?
