I got a RFE from uscis asking for my birth certificate because I only submitted a birth certificate from the Indian embassy. I didn't submit my original one because my parents names are misspelled in it. I tried to get it corrected but it will take a long time for that process and I only have two months to submit it. So I am wondering if uscis will accept my bc with affidavits from my mom and uncle stating the correction. Can anyone please advise me on this issue? Thanks in advance!!
