my sponsor is in india right now. I got all the documents already but i need a signed I-864 by him. Problem is that he can only send through fax or email it to me which i beleive would be like a photocopy not original. So my question is that does USCIS only approves an originally signed I-864 form or it could take a faxed copy also. Do they only accept the signature page signed actually with a pen?

The I-864 must have an original signature. A copied (or faxed) signature does not constitute a legal document. Courier service from India would get that signed form to you in 3 days.
