  • 8months Into the process..

Met my best friend, now husband in April of 2011
    Had our daughter March 2013
    Married March 2013
    Applied I-130 August 2013
Case transferred to CA February 2014

Currently awaiting decision on my Husband's I-130

Obviously hoping for an acceptance, plan to file for AOS so he does not have to leave US
I would honestly go nuts w/o him by our side.

I guess my question is... What's next? I'm nervous about this entire process.
What should we know, any tips? Any advice?
    A little pep talk..?

I'd just like some feedback from people who know what we are going through and who have gone through the same process...

    Thank you!
    Everything is greatly appreciated

If you are a U.S. citizen and your husband is in the U.S. with a valid visa (B2 or employment-based), you can proceed with the Adjustment of Status processing, but include a copy of the Receipt Notice of Action for the I-130.

After your I-130 approval, you will need to submit an I-601A, for a "waiver of grounds of inadmissibility." The simple I-485 procedure will not be accepted unless he has a "Parole in Place" approval.
