Form I 765 with AOS questions

Hello. My former fiancee, now wife, came over on a k-1 visa. We got married and are in the process of filling out her AOS application as well as EAD (I-765) and Advance parole. We aren't sure how to answer question 15 on I-765: "Current Immigration Status (Visitor, Student, etc.). Is it appropriate to answer as "adjustment applicant" or "K-1 visa holder"?

Also, since we were married her last name was changed but her passport with the visa in it has her maiden name. Should she obtain a new passport before traveling or will she be able to travel with her old passport? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

For #15 on for I-765, print "K1 pending Adjustment."

Passport does not need to be changed. But when travelling in future, obtain plane tickets in passport name, and she should carry a copy of marriage certificate to show reason for Green Card having different last name.
