notice of action

Hi there, I sent my green card application through marriage on March 18 to Chicago. It was express mail so they received it the next day. I still haven't gotten my notice of action and also just checked with the bank the money order hasn't been cashed out yet. I'm getting pretty worried. Is there anyone that went through the same thing? Thanks

They usually receive mails within 2 to 5 working days. And they register the case and send you the receipt which can take anywhere from 15-30 days. In my case it took 20 days for me to get the receipts. Dont worry. Just keep waiting. You can also try calling USCIS though I found the phone representives pretty useless

Thanks for your answer. I really appreciate it. That made me feel a little less worried. I called the hotline last Friday and the person on the phone was very rude and told me to call again next week. I thought since I send it with express mail, they'd get it the next day and start the process but now I see I was wrong.
