You are converting to Permanent Resident status from an F1 visa.

You need to submit the following to USCIS:

    1. Two checks for $420 and $1,070
    2. Forms I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, G-325A for each of you, I-864.
    3. Supporting documents for the above
    4. Passport-style photos for each (3 for husband and 7 for you)
    5. Immigrant medical exam completed by USCIS-listed doctor on form I-693 in sealed envelope.
    6. You should include birth certs and marriage cert, copies of your last I-94, visa and passport ID page, copy of husband's most recent Federal income tax return, W2 or 1099 forms and employment verifrication.

      See the uscis webiste

Rayb laid it out very clearly. In addition to those items he listed, you also need any prior divorce decrees. Further, if any of this is in a foreign language, (any documents) they need to be translated and a (on website) certification from translator needs to be signed. Anyone fluent in English and (other language) can translate. It used to be that a professional translator was required but that has been relaxed substantially. THe website is uscis.gov and under "forms" you can find the instructions for the forms you are sending in. They will clearly specify all you need and give you line by line instructions.

If this is too complex, you can either get an attorney or go to catholic charities who assist with this for a small fee. (At least here in my state because we are close to the Mexican border). Good luck, and by all means, ask questions via pm or on here. I just went through all of this successfully---so I am familiar with the process as is rayb and I'm sure others.

Additional evidence of relationship for this type of procedure is overkill, since relationship proof will be closely reviewed at the in-person interview.

When gathering sponsorship documents, the sponsor needs to provide proof that he has employment or self-employment. An employment verification letter can be as simple as a letter on business letterhead from his employer (or personnel staff) identifying him as an employee, compensation agreement, signed and dated, with a contact phone number of writer.
