We have received an interview appointment for parent's Adjustment of status. Both of us (daughter and parent) have been asked to be present.
Is it common to get Interview request for parent's Adjustment of Status. (parent of US citizen)? What should we expect at the interview?
We had to go twice for fingerprints. Is it possible that fingerprints were of poor quality hence did not pass FBI checks, and that is triggering interview?
Had read somewhere that police clearance may be requested in case of twice failed fingerprints. Should we plan on getting police clearance and taking
that with us for interview? Where do we get a police clearance? Do we need any paperwork from USCIS prior to requesting police clearance?
Thanks much,
Sandhya
